[GAME KEY ART] SOE64

Key art illustration created for SOE64, an upcoming retro-inspired FPS influenced by classics like GoldenEye 007, but reimagined through the lens of World War II espionage.

The piece presents British SOE agent Niel Becket in his covert operations, and I aimed for the dramatic pulp-war atmosphere that defined so many classic shooters of the late ’90s and early 2000s. I wanted the illustration to feel cinematic and slightly exaggerated, balancing stealth, action, and that particular “video game cover art” energy from the era that inspired the project. Another reference where WW2 era posters and graphic design mainly in the texture and painterly approach.

This was also a great opportunity to explore strong colored lighting, military aesthetics, and a more poster-oriented composition.
